Living History, Medieval Combat Displays, Educational talks
Many of our members participate in a range of medieval activities throughout the year. In the past, Hounds of the Morrigan has provided a host of different activities:
Living History Camps – members camping in medieval tents, showing medieval daily life and crafts in common practise in the past
Combat Displays – members showing their skills at arms for public display, showing how our ancestors fought in times gone by
Educational Talks – talks and displays for various groups such as Brownies and Scout groups, showing a range of medieval clothing, tools, weapons and armour. We have also allowed (limited!) training in medieval combat tactics for children.
